Aquaculture Oyster Farm Training
Learn all the skills to become an oyster farmer. You could become an apprentice, which leads to a captain's license. Credentials in boating safety and food safety, allergens, and alcohol are provided.
Aquidneck Island Adult Learning Center - Cardio-Phlebotomy
The program trains students to perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) and safely collect blood specimens for diagnostic testing in healthcare settings.
Aquidneck Island Adult Learning Center - Certified Nursing Assistant
The program prepares students to deliver safe, compassionate patient care in healthcare settings per RIDOH licensing requirements.
Aquidneck Island Adult Learning Center - Hospitality/Lodging
The program prepares students for careers in hotel operations, guest services, and facility management within the tourism and service industry.
Automotive Technician Training
Over the course of 340 hours, trainees will learn and develop the knowledge and skills to become Automotive Technicians, with the goal of connecting program completers to jobs with Rhode Island Dealerships by the end of the training period.
Basic Oil Burner Technician
Trainees can be directly sponsored by employers or industry partners; Are hired or pre-hired by companies from various energy companies.
Bilingual Teacher Assistant
The Bilingual Teacher Assistant program builds upon CCRI’s established Teacher Assistant training by incorporating a specialized bilingual component for individuals fluent in more than one language.
Bio-Based Leadership Prorgram
The Bio-Based Leadership Bootcamp provides 25–50 hours of interdisciplinary instruction that integrates leadership development with applied technical training for technicians, researchers, and emerging leaders.
Bridges to Career Opportunities
Culinary Arts: Amos House offers training with opportunities to earn several certifications, including ServSafe Food Handler, Allergen, Alcohol, and CPR/AED.
Building Futures Construction Pre-Apprenticeship (BF-200)
BF200 incorporates rigorous, skill-based training tied to measurable goals and outcomes that prepare participants for Registered Apprenticeship in the construction trades.
