Bilingual Teacher Assistant

The Bilingual Teacher Assistant program builds upon CCRI’s established Teacher Assistant training by incorporating a specialized bilingual component for individuals fluent in more than one language. The program covers all state-required competencies, including roles and responsibilities, human development, diversity, special education, student rights, health and safety, instructional processes, school law, technology, classroom climate, and team collaboration. Participants also gain targeted skills to support multilingual learners and effectively engage families in diverse school communities.

This program opportunity is organized by the Community College of RI Division of Workforce Partnerships led by Community College of Rhode Island.
