Temporary Disability Insurance (TDI) provides weekly payments to Rhode Island workers who miss work due to a non-work-related illness or injury.
The Temporary Caregiver Insurance (TCI) law was enacted on July 11, 2013. TCI offers up to 7 weeks of paid leave to care for a seriously ill loved one or to bond with a new child. You must apply within 30 days of starting your leave.
