This program provides an introduction to the field of Phlebotomy, which prepares the student to obtain blood specimens in labs, physician’s offices and hospitals.

The Professional Administrative Assistant Program is a certificate program specially designed to prepare students for a career as an administrative assistant.

The Project Management certificate program is designed for individuals with little to no direct Project Management experience or education. The program is aligned with the Project Management Institute Body of Knowledge (PMBOK). All new students will need to take the Strategies for Success module once before they begin. There is no cost for Strategies for Success.

The QuickBooks program is designed to teach the student QuickBooks and how you can get around in QuickBooks using forms, lists, and registers. Students will be able to find information to help get started using QuickBooks. Student will learn to manage an open window, compare windows side by side, and use the Customer, Vendor, and Employee Centers.

The Refugee Dream Center provides workforce development training and wrap-around services to help refugees secure employment. Breaking Barriers cultural brokers offer support with coordination, translation, and transportation.

RemoteWorks will serve 10 individuals who have been unemployed due to challenges posed by the pandemic, with a specific focus on individuals with disabilities and people of color. The need for trained remote workers is a turning point in the workforce history and this new landscape demands specialized training that prepares individuals to begin long-term career pathways.

The Rhode Island Makers Training Program offers a free 5-week welding training program. To prepare participants for the program's intensity, it includes a preliminary 40-hour work readiness boot camp, followed by over 100 hours of hands-on welding training.
