The Mechanicals group encompasses a range of skilled tradespeople essential for building and maintaining Rhode Island's infrastructure. Pipefitters are responsible for installing and maintaining piping systems used for various purposes like steam, water, heating, cooling, and industrial processes. Welders utilize specialized equipment to join and cut metal components according to blueprints. Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanics specialize in the installation, service, and repair of cooling systems for both industrial and residential settings, while Heating and Air Conditioning Mechanics focus on keeping residential and commercial buildings comfortable with heating and air conditioning system installations and repairs.
