Description

The NIST Cybersecurity Framework was created under an Executive Order to provide a uniform standard that the government and businesses could adopt to guide their cybersecurity activities and risk management programs. Therefore, this certificate program is recommended mainly for individuals seeking a cybersecurity job with a government agency, government contractor (i.e. defense contractors), or in the “critical sector” field (i.e. energy sector, public healthcare). The link to the certifying exam will be delivered at the time of enrollment. Students have one calendar year from enrollment to complete the exam. The Practitioner 800-53 certificate outlines current cybersecurity challenges and explains how organizations who operationalize a NIST-CSF program across an enterprise and its supply chain can mitigate these challenges, using the NIST 800-53 standard as an informative reference.

**You will need to meet with a Job Coach either online or at a DLT Career Center to determine your eligibility for an Individual Training Account of up to $15,000 to cover the cost of the ETPL program you wish to enroll in.**
