Description

The Certified Nursing Assistant program prepares you for a fulfilling career as a state Certified Nursing Aide and a CPR/BLS certificate. The CNA certification can be a stepping stone to other jobs in healthcare. The program combines theory, hands-on training skills, and an internship. Our program offers daytime and evening classes to fit busy schedules. The course consists of 120 total hours: 80 hours in the classroom lecture and hands-on training and a 40-hour internship of clinical training. Upon successfully completing the CNA course, students will receive a temporary license and be eligible to pursue employment as a Certified Nursing Assistant while they wait for the State Exam.

**You will need to meet with a Job Coach either online or at a DLT Career Center to determine your eligibility for an Individual Training Account of up to $15,000 to cover the cost of the ETPL program you wish to enroll in.**
