Description

Our Advanced EMT-Cardiac Program offers a balance of didactic, clinical, and psychomotor skills in the classroom and in Hospital Emergency Medical Centers. This program covers Cardiology, Pharmacology, Behavioral Mental Health, and interventions such as Endotracheal Intubation and Intraosseous cannulation. You will also be certified in ACLS and PALS. Advanced Cardiac Life Support, also known as ACLS, will certify you in treating life threatening emergencies using advanced medical procedures to the AHA standard. Pediatric Advanced Life Support, also known as PALS, is similar to ACLS, but focuses on the AHA standard for pediatrics patients. This program is not eligible for a Pell Grant. 

Class Schedule:

  • January 29, 2024, Monday & Wednesday Nights - every other Saturday.
  • May 21, 2024, Tuesday & Thursday Nights - every other Saturday.
  • September 9, 2024 Monday & Wednesday Nights - every other Saturday.

**You will need to meet with a Job Coach either online or at a DLT Career Center to determine your eligibility for an Individual Training Account of up to $15,000 to cover the cost of the ETPL program you wish to enroll in.**
