Description

The Ophthalmic Technician training is for people who want to work with patients in an ophthalmic (eye) practice or hospital ophthalmic setting. Graduates that complete this program are immediately eligible for employment with individual or group private offices or hospital ophthalmology practices. Students can also expect to learn a wide array of skills including customer service, patient conflict resolution, patient education, phone call etiquette, and various computing/software skills.

This program opportunity is organized by the CCRI Division of Workforce Partnerships led by Community College of Rhode Island.
