Description
Offered in partnership with Real Jobs Rhode Island and the RI Department of Labor and Training, CCRI is offering an opportunity to prepare for a career in Rhode Island’s clean water sector through this 250-hour, hands-on training program. Participants will gain foundational knowledge and practical experience in drinking water and wastewater operations, covering systems, tools, safety protocols, basic math and science, OSHA-10, and preparation for RIDEM and RIDOH Operator 1 certification exams. This program includes classroom instruction, lab work, site visits, and a 50-hour job shadowing placement with a local employer.
This program opportunity is organized by the Community College of RI Division of Workforce Partnerships, led by the Community College of Rhode Island.
