Carpentry Training

Residential Construction Workforce Partnership (RCWP) is focused on residential construction for the shelter industry, that is truly dedicated to providing; career exploration, recruitment, entry level craft awareness, and craft training by certified instructors and support staff in the following fields: Carpentry/weatherization, electrical, HVAC/plumbing, Vocational English as a Second Language (VESL) and other specialized supplemental instruction, to round out the students’ needs for upskilling, job placement, pathways to entrepreneurial opportunities and minority‐based business creation. This training will provide a 15-week construction/carpentry pre-apprenticeship training to sixteen (16) job seekers and or incumbent workers.
