Description
The Rhode Island Maker's Training Program is a four-week, 100-hour welding and manufacturing training program, providing work-based instruction that will increase participants' qualifications for manufacturing and related sectors in Rhode Island. The curriculum is for 100-hours of work-based training, including an OSHA-10 Certification and a certificate of completion of the RI Maker's Program.
Next, the class will participate in an innovative, 40-hour, one-week Work Readiness Bootcamp, which includes instruction on basic etiquette, resume building, interviewing, mentoring, as well as a presentation from leading Rhode Island business, labor, and training organizations.
This program opportunity is organized by the Rhode Island Makers Training Program led by United Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters, Local 51.
