Cosmetology

Prepares students to secure an entry-level position in a salon or spa. The program includes theory instruction, a hands on workship and practice on live models and school guest in a service area that emulates the salon or salon service environment.

Cosmetology

This is an instructional program that provides classroom theory, manicuring, hair straightening, styled haircutting, blow drying, shampooing, permanent waving, shampooing, finger waving, facial massage, scalp treatments, haircutting, facial grooming, sanitation, sterilization and bacteriology, chemical relaxing, and shop management, salesmanship, ethics, courtesy and conduct.

Cosmetology

The cosmetology course is designed to introduce students to the areas of modern haircutting, coloring, hairdressing, esthetics, and manicuring. It meets the state required level to obtain a license from the State. Full Time Program - 9:00 am to 4:30 pm Tues-Sat, 3 Day Program - 9:00 am to 7:30 pm Thurs-Sat, Night Program - 5:30 pm to 10:00 pm Mon-Thurs.

IYRS School of Technology & Trades

EMT Basic

Students will learn skills in basic life support, respiratory emergencies, trauma emergencies, vehicle extrication and terrorism awareness as it pertains to EMS. Medication administration, use of AED's and ambulance operations will be covered.

American Safety Programs and Training

This course consists of lectures and hands-on lab sessions to prepare students for work as an EMT/ambulance attendant.

This 10-week Direct Support Provider Training Program helps adults learn the skills and earn the certifications they need to get a job helping individuals with developmental disabilities. Trainees learn how to provide support, care, education, and advocacy for individuals with developmental disabilities.
