JARC RI 2023

The Jane Addams Resource Corporation (JARC) promotes strong communities and businesses. They offer The CNC Fast Track program, providing 500 hours of hands-on training in Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine technology over 20 weeks.

The program covers topics like numerical control systems, the Cartesian Coordinate System, high-efficiency tooling applications, and more. By the end, students will be able to:

• Transition from conventional machining to CNC operations.
• Apply fundamentals in CNC machining and applications.
• Identify and understand NC controls and functions.
• Demonstrate basic CNC programming concepts.
• List factors influencing NC machine selection.
• Identify the correct process plan and tooling selection.
• Develop and run a manual program to operate a CNC machine.
• Demonstrate competency in running a fixtured part using a CNC program.
