This free, month-long program is the perfect entry point for hard-working, self-motivated individuals interested in a career in Rhode Island's commercial fishing industry.

What you'll learn:

The CIT course is a nationally recognized Community Interpreter Training course developed by Cross-Cultural Communications (CCC) a training and consulting organization which is based in Columbia, Maryland.

Composites Technology Program is 6-months in length and is designed to equip students with a fundamental understanding of composites materials (polymer resins and fiber reinforcements), product applications, and widely used molding methods. Students will also become proficient in CAD/CAM technology and receive experience with 2D and 3D tools.

Prepares students to secure an entry-level position in a salon or spa. The program includes theory instruction, a hands on workship and practice on live models and school guest in a service area that emulates the salon or salon service environment.

This is an instructional program that provides classroom theory, manicuring, hair straightening, styled haircutting, blow drying, shampooing, permanent waving, shampooing, finger waving, facial massage, scalp treatments, haircutting, facial grooming, sanitation, sterilization and bacteriology, chemical relaxing, and shop management, salesmanship, ethics, courtesy and conduct.

The cosmetology course is designed to introduce students to the areas of modern haircutting, coloring, hairdressing, esthetics, and manicuring. It meets the state required level to obtain a license from the State. Full Time Program - 9:00 am to 4:30 pm Tues-Sat, 3 Day Program - 9:00 am to 7:30 pm Thurs-Sat, Night Program - 5:30 pm to 10:00 pm Mon-Thurs.

Culinary trainees will learn to prepare salads, stocks, soups and sauces, fabricate meat cuts, develop knife skills, understand & convert measurements in recipes, identify & use kitchen equipment, prepare basic & exotic ingredients, serve customers in a micro bakery/snack bar business, develop work readiness skills, and work in groups and independently to achieve personal & prof

This training program equips participants with the essential skills to thrive in entry-level call center and customer service roles within the insurance and investment industries. It covers a comprehensive range of topics, including professionalism, customer service excellence, call center best practices, technology usage, basic investment and insurance fundamentals, and more.

The Dental Assistant program is designed to prepare the student with a strong foundation on which to build a successful career as a competent entry-level dental assistant.
