Description

Culinary trainees will learn to prepare salads, stocks, soups and sauces, fabricate meat cuts, develop knife skills, understand & convert measurements in recipes, identify & use kitchen equipment, prepare basic & exotic ingredients, serve customers in a micro bakery/snack bar business, develop work readiness skills, and work in groups and independently to achieve personal & professional goals. Internship and ServSafe Food Safety Manager Certification included in training. Comprehensive, integrated support services are provided by our Financial Opportunity Center, including Case Management, Employment Counseling, and Financial Coaching. Follow-up for one year after graduation, with full access to support services. This program takes 14 Weeks (350 hours, including training and internship). Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00am - 2:30pm. Walk-in information sessions every Tuesday at Genesis Center - 620 Potters Ave, Providence, RI.

**You will need to meet with a Job Coach either online or at a DLT Career Center to determine your eligibility for an Individual Training Account of up to $15,000 to cover the cost of the ETPL program you wish to enroll in.**
