Description

This is a Nineteen-week bookkeeping and accounting certificate program. The certificate program teaches skills in manual and computerized accounting and bookkeeping functions. This includes preparations and maintenance of ledgers, journals, adjusting closing entries, basic financial statements, cash and banking procedures, payroll and accounts payable and receivable, including extensive training in QuickBooks and Excel accounting programs. Also, included is Business writing/communications skills and NorthStar digital literacy certificate. Work readiness skills including business etiquette, cover letters, resumes, job search techniques, interviewing, job placement and reference assistance. Students will be placed in an internship for a minimum of 120 unpaid hours in a business office setting. Case management support service are provided. If there is an ESL component to this program; the students will earn college credits. This program is not Pell Grant Eligible.

**You will need to meet with a Job Coach either online or at a DLT Career Center to determine your eligibility for an Individual Training Account of up to $15,000 to cover the cost of the ETPL program you wish to enroll in.**
