Developed by experienced Community Health Workers (CHWs) at CEHC, the ANTP equips participants with the skills and knowledge to navigate the healthcare system, interpret medical information, and provide culturally sensitive care. The 10-week program consists of: Community Health Worker training: This curriculum, approved by the RI DOH, prepares participants for CHW certification upon completion of 1,000 hours of work experience. Medical Interpreting training: Led by an experienced trainer, this course equips participants with medical interpreting skills. Vida Sana Healthy Life Lifestyle Coach training: Developed by CEHC Navegantes, this training focuses on healthy lifestyle coaching skills. CPR, AED, and First Aid certification: Provided by Lifespan, this training equips participants with essential first-aid skills. Human Research Studies certification: Offered by CEHC in collaboration with CITI, this training prepares participants to participate in research studies ethically.
