Description:Business Administration and Management, General. An instructional program that generally prepares individuals to plan, organize, direct, and control the functions and processes of a firm or organization. Includes instruction in management theory, human resources management and behavior, accounting and other quantitative methods, purchasing and Six Sigma is a quality improvement process, driven and supported by top leaders in today’s most successful organizations. This process improvement quality initiative uses a structured quantitative approach for driving improvement in an organization through the use of defined metrics in manufacturing, service, and financial processes within an organization. This focus on product, process, and transaction can be defined and understood at three distinct levels: metric, methodology, and philosophy. This course is designed to provide the training required to certify an individual to Six Sigma Green Belt status. Class is delivered 5 days per week over 1 week.
