Description:A program focusing on the principles and techniques used to identify, search, seize and analyze digital media and to conduct cyber investigations against criminal activity. Includes instruction in computer boot processes and drives, jumper setting, file access and reconstruction, hacking, network systems, cryptography, programming, investigative techniques, forensic imagery, web-based investigation methods, and applicable laws and administrative procedures. This program is 5 courses, and is a credit based certificate. Credit earned in this certificate is eligible to be applied towards the RWU associate's/bachelor's degree. This program is Pell Grant Eligible.
